Thursday I had the privilege to work with a long standing client and good friend Cheryl Bernard of curling Team Bernard. Cheryl is an Olympic Silver medalist among other successes on the curling scene, her team consists herself, Lori Olson-Johns, Susan O’Connor and a new addition to the team Shannon Aleksic. The combination of skills that this team brings to the table is in my opinion just what they need to make it to Sochi 2014 and make Canada proud. I’m glad I got to be a part in creating their promotional package for their Olympic run and I wish them all of the best!

Here are some of the images we captured at their recent outing in Edmonton.

…And yes, of course I included a photo of myself with Team Bernard!:)

This past weekend was one of those weekends that leaves you needing another weekend come Monday, thankfully I had the opportunity to spent part of my day Saturday with Lisa Krewda and her lovely family to take some photos to commemorate her 50th birthday! What a milestone!

Although we had plans for a nice sunny day with a beautiful sky for our shoot Mother Nature had other plans in store, even though the skies opened up and it was pouring rain the entire time we toughed it out and had a lot of fun in the rain! Here are some photos from our fun rainy portrait shoot!

Congrats Lisa!

It’s crazy how fast this milestone seems to come around every year and every year it seems to be taken for granted. This year definitely stands separate from the rest, my last first day of school ever!

In the weeks leading up I have thought about this day constantly unsure of how I really feel about this milestone and I still do not know. On one hand I’m excited to be back for one final year of school to learn s much as I can to prepare me for the the real world but on the other hand I’m a little scared. Since I was five years old I had a seasonal routine, school everyday, Monday to Friday, September to June. Now I will enter the doors of Nait to begin a school year one final time and learn as much as I possibly can until April then continue my career as a Photographer.

Bottom line, I’m excited. Excited for the things I have left to learn and everything I have left to experience! This will be the place to see and read all of those adventures that I go on from now on. I’m excited to share them with you and I hope you’re excited to come along for the ride!

Wish me luck!

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to my blog!

This will be a vision into the crazy inner workings of my photographic endeavours as well as my beyond crazy brain!

Those of you that know me already probably came rushing over here when you heard about my blog because you know that I of all people would be the last to spend my time writing, I mean I take photos for a living! Personally I think sharing my thoughts with you on a regular basis is going to be fun! Like anything else being new at blogging is going to hinder me in the beginning but I promise if you bare with me and join me in laughing at myself when I make rookie mistakes you’re in for something special!

My goal here is to offer you a read that becomes routine for you, so hopefully you’ll ditch that weekly newspaper and enjoy my endeavours with your morning coffee instead! I’m always looking for feedback and suggestions so feel free to share!
